
Last night, Callie came over for playtime and a snack. Iain was, of course, delighted.

He offered her a nice water cracker as an appetizer, and she accepted. Their date was going well. She even took off her jacket and threw on something "a little more comfortable." It looked a lot like Mom's shawl, but on Callie the effect was electric.

They agreed to have a romantic dinner: brown rice, stir fried chicken and broccoli, pork and cabbage with hoisin sauce, steamed potstickers - in short, a plethora of delights to consume while gazing meaningfully across the table at one another.

The embarrassing thing is that I was going for a sarong, but ended up tying it on her shoulder. Presto chango: a sort-of sari.
