Iain's first visit to our local children's park was a resounding success. He's not always thrilled with new things - especially if they involve a lot of movement and touching. Sometimes (as in restaurants) he likes it. Other times (if there is a loud noise, for example, that sounds anything like the vacuum) he doesn't like it.
But the park, on a beautiful day and full of other kids, was a hit. Iain got to bounce on the modern version of a teeter-totter (now with Extra Spring Action and 100% less head-whacking dangerousness) with his future mother-in-law:

And to ride on the baby swings (there are other swings for bigger kids):

What's he looking at? Dad and Callie's Dad over at the edge of the park with the dogs. They attracted more attention with those dogs - at various points there were 5 or 6 kids, plus mommies and daddies and even granddaddies all coming over for a chance to pet Bobo and Juno.
Here you see Iain taking a break with The Dad, but that blue thing behind Professor Callie's-Dad is a kid who couldn't get enough of the dogs.

Iain really liked the swing. So much so that he needed two periods of Serious Swinging:

And, last but not least, here's Iain's beloved, looking ravishing as always:
