This week my colleagues (Joel and KP) and I took 18 students to Torrey, Utah, for some fun in the desert. We painted. We photographed. We talked. We walked.
We soaked our boots (which we love) in a cold stream of melted snow that we didn't anticipate walking in because the description promised "some water" and "rocks" to cross said water upon. The description lied. My socks squished inside my boots. I AM BITTER.
But, all in all, it was a great trip. Lots of fun, minimal drama, and plenty of laughter.
Next stop: Louisville for the AP reading.
