Seen on the streets of Oxford. Unfortunately, I had no video camera with which to capture the singing and dancing. We're hoping Prof. Bowes can provide some insight on this one.

I am not quite sure what to say about this picture. Too bad there is no audio here to get a sense of the musical stylings of this duo. The outfit of the man in yellow appears to be some intriguing hybrid of powwow fancydancing meets Carnivale in Rio. And I am even more intrigued by the small teepees to his left. In the end, I'm afraid I am at a loss. It does, however, make me realize that perhaps there is an opportunity for me to go abroad and teach some aspect of American Indian history. Clearly there is some room for improvement in England. Unreal.
