Sooo...

The musical toy we received a week ago remains verrrry popular.

But this morning I discovered the setting Iain likes best: Spanish.

He turned the page in the middle, which switches the toy from music to words. Now, it will sing ABC and 123 and various other things ("Open!" "Closed!"). You can set it for English or Spanish. I have no idea who switched it to Spanish, but this morning I sat him down for a minute and out came the ABC's in Spanish.

He loved it. LOVED it. And is sitting here, 15 minutes later, still pressing buttons and trying to sing along ("Abajo..." "Amarillo..." "Verde...").

So there you go. Mrs. Frumin is a genius.

Oh, it must be the LeapFrog Learning Table "thingy." Evie loved that - and I still get the woman's voice every once in awhile saying "Open. Closed."

That's the one! All these things are new to me, but obviously known to parents. Competent parents, I mean.

It's a pretty good toy. He really enjoys it and watching him learn how to manipulate the various buttons has been interesting. Charles says that Iain needs a nap every 1.5 hours because he spends so much time *thinking*.
