More Miriam's Wedding Guests

Not a guest, but a close-up of Miriam's sash. Isn't it pretty? That color carried through in the invitations and the program, as well.

Here's Miriam's dad giving the welcome and thanking everyone for coming. Things got rather more interesting for him later on...

Ahem. Bottoms up! [BTW, that's real Woodford Reserve, brought special from KY. Yes, kids, we travel with our bourbon. Because that's what you have to do.]

Miriam's nieces dancing together. Here's a quiz:
Could they be cuter?
a. No.
b. No.
c. Are you kidding? No.

Yours truly, with Master Iain, making a truly inappropriate face. Also, notice his diaper sticking up out of his trousers.

Herself and little Lucy, who could possibly be cuter, if you could turn cute up to "11."*

Chloe! She really enjoyed the wedding, and we loved seeing her in her pretty dress embroidered with pearls.

Here's Will's cousin Emma, and her son Eddie. He loved the HaHa.

Aunt Matie, looking soignee in her gold silk suit. Note the pearls - southern ladies all wear pearls.

Kelly, wearing her rather exceptional fascinator. Take note, please, of the sunshine. English weather is excellent, don't believe what they tell you.

And Jen, one of Miriam's closest friends and a partner in crime for Kelly, Michelle and me. You recall that Jen helped to demo the awesome Porta-Loos.

It was a beautiful wedding, not least because so many of the guests were so good looking. I had dress envy from Thursday to Monday, inclusive.

*That's a Spinal Tap joke, in case you're feeling kind of bewildered.
