This is the view from our friend Lawrence's hotel room. He was at a conference discussing General Education at universities. Not only did he meet all sorts of interesting people, he got to wake up to this every morning.
He says that the ski resort opened this week after getting a nice snow dump of 4 feet. Grrrr...

Just remember, it may look beautiful but it is cold. So cold you have to wear many layers. Many, Many, layers. Preventive layers when needing to go to the bathroom in a hurry.... I'm just saying....
"Preventive" layers? Like Depends? I prefer to go ahead and peel off all the ski stuff and just use the bathroom. But hey - whatever works for you.
And, M: it's cold here! So I get the cold but no view. Grrr...
I'd totally be jealous if I could ski. As it is, I'm not even bunny slope material. All those years of ballet and I can still barely walk without tripping. I'm pretty sure my mom is crying in her pillow somewhere.
