On the whole, girl clothes beat boy clothes hands-down. I don't love pink. But even putting aside the problem of pink, girl clothes feature much more embellishment, different shapes, and other bits of whimsy. They're darling.
But once in a while Iain puts on something and I get that same frisson of excitement. In this case, it was an outfit in which I could kind of see what he might look like in a year.
