Sigh

Apparently, we set the worldwide standard for Type 2 diabetes.

But now we've got competition.

What caught my eye here is that lovely English talent for delivering a little pinch when you're not looking. Why, we're Worse Than Americans!? No! How can that be?

That just means that there's jet a contry that has bested us at something. Great. I thought we'd always be first in fatties.

It's probably the Welsh and Scots skewing the statistics.

So I'm not the only one who was all weepy when Heath Ledger's family accepted his Oscar! :) (Although I missed Oliver Twist, thank goodness. I don't think I could have handled more weeping.)

I always appreciate your comments so much. They're always funny or thought provoking, or both! :)

CVC: Oliver Twist, in a nutshell: little boy found by family after horrible danger. Uh...cue weeping! I guess I didn't think about it when I changed the channel. I ought to have realized that it would push all my buttons. Thanks for the compliment!

Bart: are you smacking on KFC? I'm afraid I cannot permit that. The Colonel would not like it, no sirree. Don't make me come over there with a white suit and bolo tie. You wouldn't look good in a bolo tie, sir.

Will! Better watch what you say. Those boys in kilts are going to come and get you.

First in fatties!
