6am: Angry screaming.
6:03: Cuddling. Back to bed.
6:44: Mom gives up. Gets baby, changes diaper, provides bottle.
7:21: Nap. Screaming. Zzzzz...
9:30: Angry screaming.
9:32: Mom gives up. Changes Iain's clothes and diaper, provides breakfast (pear, banana, yoghurt)
11: Nap 2, Angry screaming.
Any time, now, he'll wake up from that nap. Doubtless, he'll be hungry.
Meanwhile, it's cold and raining and we caught Boris eating mud. So, you know: awesome.

mud can be delicious....
it is cold and rainy here and I am snuggling with my kitty on the couch. On a day like today and if I were Iain's age, I would be all screaming for pears and bananas too.
Yeah. There were days that being a Mom was not so fulfilling. Being a baby is a strain too.
He's a lot more fun now than when he'll take the car out and you won't know where he is, or whatever the permutation of that will be 15 years from now.
But you were home with a sweet baby and kissable cheeks, not arguing with a 10 year old that, "Yes, when I said 'homework' it was in fact, due today."
Of course, the mud eating sort of trumps that.
What a lovely day.
It's funny - you don't like naps when you're a kid, but you would die, just die, for one when you're grown up...
Hang in there, tomorrow will be better.
