Date Night, Part 2

Ok, ok, here's the truth: Callie and I were introduced by a matchmaker. No, really. As you can see above, my photograph is irresistible. I put it up on BabyMatch.com and immediately a bunch of emails came in from the ladies.

Here you can see our introduction, and our matchmaker. She helped to ease that first-date tension by talking to us a little and holding us up so we could see one another. I wore overalls so Callie would know that I'm down to earth.

Once the introductions were out of the way, we got down to eating dinner. You already know what we had, but here you can see Callie enjoying not just her dinner but also the bottle of Chateau d'Le Horizon Eau du Vache that I ordered. It was a 2008, in case you're wondering. I love these younger vintages.

As the evening wore on, I felt more and more relaxed. She was so smart, so chatty, so friendly to my dogs and the staff. You know - anyone who is rude to the staff is just not for me. Manners, ladies. Halfway through dinner I knew that this might be a really good match. I settled back in my high-chair, bib speckled with brown rice, and thought about what to do next. The Rainbow Room? Bungee jumping? Perhaps a little club-hopping??

Stay tuned for the next installment...

I know this can't be leading to marriage - you are too young, Iain!
