Maddie Would Like to Correct the Record

Apparently, things perked up a bit at Chez Maddie last night. A lovely supper tray helped. Note the contents: watermelon slices, cherry tomatoes, roast beef and brie. So, so refined. And note that Miss Maddie wears no bib, yet she does not have food smeared all over her face and in her hair. Ahem.

After her snack, things were much better. And, really, you can't blame her for being stressed. What with Fashion Week, she has so many things to think about. Her fall collection, for instance, which hangs on her unique take on accessories:

As you can see above, Maddie comments on the recession by using two handbags. This, in combination with her stroller-carry, also nods to the feminist concept of the Double Burden. In short, she's a fashion designer who sees the world in its present form and also in a historical context. That kind of sophistication can make you cranky. But it's nothing a little brie can't fix.

Dude,

Its like a performative triple burden. We can't even keep up with Our Tiny Lady's metatext -- our hermeneutics trail her epistemological foundation by, like, forever. We think it all has something to do with this week's favorite words, "ice" and "teeth."
