For fall, Iain has two pairs of shoes. Pair One, above, are brown suede from The Gap, and they slip on. Size 6 - which we learned last week is Evie's size, even though Evie is significantly older than Iain. Can you say Water Skis?

Pair Two are from a smaller, hipper, altogether more colorful company - See Kai Run. They're grey, blue, and black (so Iain has a pair for his warm-tone outfits and a pair for when he wears cool colors, naturally), with velcro closures. Last week See Kai Run was having a free shipping event, which made them cost-comparable with local stores like Stride-Rite. They came yesterday, and they are ADORABLE. Iain likes that he has velcro to play with in the car. Mommy likes that they're easy to get on and very attractive.
