Birthday Part 1

First thing this morning, Iain enjoyed Part 1 of his birthday: scrambled eggs!
That made him very tired, naturally, so he needed a nap.
Second thing this morning, Iain enjoyed Part 2 of his birthday: The Turning of the Carseat. (Daddy did not enjoy this part of the birthday until Iain was already in it)

After that, it was a trip to the store, then back to the house for another nap, then the Birthday Freakout began in earnest. Joined by Callie and her parents, we walked up to the local kiddie park to try out the equipment.

First stop: the baby swings. As you can see above, Iain found them sort of intriguing. Callie helped to show him the way, both on the swings and on other stuff (photos to follow).
