We thought we might try to measure Iain, using this handy-dandy retractable measuring tape. But he was way, way too interested to stand still and let us hold it next to him.
Oooh...wavey. Iain thought the feel of the material was interesting, the way it bended and whacked things, the way it could be pulled out and then retracted. He played with it for a good while.
With, of course, some Visible Diaper for good measure.

Sooo strange I spent Sunday with my dad trying to stop Freddie and EmJay from slicing fingers off on a retractable tape measure. They where stretching it from the living room to the back door and counting three then letting go to Woops of excitement as it span itself back into it's plastic cocoon.
I guess the simple pleasures are universal.
