Times Iain was up in the night.
Joy.
[Edit: After Evie's excellent sympathy - we'll take it! - I realized that I wasn't entirely clear earlier. Iain is not ill, just awake. Wide awake, Mama. WIDE. AWAKE. All night, pretty much. So no worries, just not much sleep.]

Oh, Fiona! I feel so bad for both of you! Evie and I are sending germ-killing thoughts your way...
In the great tradition of paradoxical reactions, I wonder if he had some strange, wakeful response to the Tylenol and Motrin?
In any case, very sorry you had to manage this at all, esp alone.
Love,
Mommy
Oh, in that case, maybe he was communicating with Evie on some level. She woke up, hysterical, in the middle of the night. I finally figured out that she wanted me to sing Hush Little Baby. Argh! Her cold is really putting a damper on my already-terrible sleep! But at least she only woke up once... Iain is putting her to shame.
Wishing you lots and lots of sleep tonight...
Oh, Mommy maybe on to something. I react the opposite way you are supposed to with Benadryl and other meds of that ilk. I hope that isn't the case.
